We wanted to find out from him where he gets all his knowledge from:
"Now as a photographer, journalist, traveller and angler with over 30 years of experience in all of the above, I have travelled all over the world.
For many years I worked as an editor for a large German fishing magazine. It is my craft to get to the bottom of things. In the Oder-Spree Lake District, hobby and profession have long since merged for me. I have been able to carry out countless photo shoots with a tourist background in the region in recent years.
But there are two hearts beating in my chest. That of the photographer and that of the angler. And so when I looked through the viewfinder I was always on the lookout for fishing waters. Where the shutter rattled during the day, I hoped for a bent rod in the evening (or on a short vacation). I was never disappointed."
