Classics Without Borders opens up classical music to encounters. In the parks of Frankfurt (Oder), a relaxed atmosphere is created amidst urban greenery, the proximity of the Oder River, and the European cultural region. The festival combines music, openness, and the city's cross-border character.

"Jan and Martha" is a German-Polish theatre and cultural project about flight, expulsion and resettlement in the Oder region after 1945. It makes different perspectives visible, strengthens shared historical awareness and promotes cross-border theatre and educational dialogue.
At the heart of the project is a theatre ship on the Oder River. As a floating stage, it brings the performance directly to the people and connects locations on both sides of the border. Wind, water, and the surrounding environment become part of the theatrical experience, making each performance unique.

At the end of August, the Oder island of Ziegenwerder will become the venue for the popular summer film festival. Audiences can expect exceptional open-air cinema in a unique island atmosphere.
The focus is on films beyond the mainstream – works that impress with their artistic relevance, open up new perspectives and give space to the diversity of European and international filmmaking.

Storkow's Autumn Poetry festival combines literature, music, and the atmosphere of a historic castle complex. When brick walls, courtyards, and views across the lake landscape are bathed in autumnal light, a tranquil and profound cultural moment is created.

Film ohne Grenzen brings sophisticated cinema to the stylish ambiance of Bad Saarow. Eibenhof, the Kulturscheune (cultural barn), the rural surroundings, and the proximity to Lake Scharmützel create a place with a personal atmosphere. Here, film isn't just shown; it's shared.

INS FREIE! brings culture to one of Brandenburg's most important castle complexes. Prussian architecture, landscaped parkland, and a contemporary program create an open, summery festival atmosphere. Anyone arriving here senses: the park is not just a backdrop; it provides the space for the evening.

In Buckow Palace Park, classical music resonates amidst ancient trees, expansive green spaces, and literary history. The proximity to Bertolt Brecht's former workplace lends the concerts a special flair. Nature, cultural history, and music blend seamlessly here, creating a summer moment at its own pace.

Fieldstone and Music brings concerts to places that are both quiet and impressive. Churches, fieldstone buildings, and the Garzau Pyramid connect architecture, acoustics, and landscape. The stones tell stories of history, the Ice Age, and the region. The music makes this space audible.

Oper Oder Spree brings musical theatre to places steeped in history. At Beeskow Castle, opera meets medieval brick architecture. At Neuzelle Monastery, the baroque complex takes on its own impressive stage presence. In this way, opera in rural areas becomes an experience that resonates long after the final note.

Beyond the millions, the historic Streleburg castle transforms Friedland into an intimate and vibrant festival venue. Ancient walls, courtyards, and its manageable size create an atmosphere that feels more personal than large festival areas. Here, culture remains close: to the location, to the artists, to the audience.

At the Theater am Rand, culture is closely intertwined with the landscape. The Oder meadows, sky, water, and stage create a tranquil space for music and poetry. Liederlauschen am Rand (Listening to Songs at the Edge) is a festival for all those seeking not just a concert, but a place where music resonates.
