11th Storkow Autumn Poetry Festival: Parktheater Edelbruch “Forced Vacation” – a tribute to Lisl Karlstadt and Karl Valentin

Having reached the autumn of their relationship, Karl and Lisl experience a second spring during their summer vacation. The well-established couple tries to overcome the challenges of their holiday and, in doing so, gets caught in their own mental traps.

In this production, the Parktheater Edelbruch explores the often absurdist humor of Karl Valentin. Kristin Giertler and Thomas Kornmann slip into the roles of Karl Valentin and Lisl Karlstadt, indulging in twisted logic and absurd wordplay without using the Bavarian dialect.
