The Michael Linckersdorff Foundation invites you to a special literary evening in the tea house at Freienwalde Castle. Our guest is the outstanding author Ursula Krechel, recipient of the 2012 German Book Prize and the 2025 Georg Büchner Prize.
That evening she will read from her work "Shanghai Far From Where". Known for her profound novels such as "Landgericht" and "Dear Madam Minister", Krechel is considered one of the most important voices in contemporary German literature.
The reading will be accompanied musically by Jacob Eckert on the piano. He will enrich the salon with his own jazz compositions as well as well-known jazz standards.
