On the second Sunday of Advent, the historic village green in Petershagen is transformed into an Advent shopping mile. Many historic landmarks open their doors, including the Angerscheune (green barn), the village hall, the Büdnerhaus (small house), the Madels Restaurant beer garden, and the Mümmelmann children's farm.
At 15 p.m., the Angerscheune invites you to a Stollen cutting ceremony and Advent singing with the trombone quartet of the Herbert von Karajan Academy.
At 3:30 p.m. there will be a guided tour of the village hall, which is currently being renovated.
At 16 pm there will be a trombone concert in St. Peter's Church
From 16 p.m. to 18 p.m., visitors can purchase historical calendars for 2026 at the Büdnerhaus and warm themselves with mulled wine and a small snack.
Santa Claus is out and about all afternoon.
