Rolf-Dieter Schiller, a master mechanical engineer, lives in Erkner. Since 2003, this enthusiastic amateur painter has primarily worked in oils. He has created more than 600 paintings since then. Schiller draws inspiration from classic artists such as Rubens, the German and French Expressionists, and Russian landscape painting.
