Exhibition "Diversity of Life" by Angela Bolocan

Agile and full of life, she speaks about her paintings and her motivation for painting. Her accent unmistakably reveals Angela Bolocan's origins. A native of Chisinau, the capital of Moldova, she studied medicine there and has worked as a doctor ever since. Angela Bolocan came to Germany over a decade ago to educate her daughter. She stayed and, alongside her career, pursues what she loved as a child: painting, now exclusively with oils! The world is a cosmos of diversity, full of color, beauty, and power. Angela Bolocan perceives this world as a mirror to her soul. She immerses herself in the fascination of flowers, landscapes, figures, and animals, exploring their character and unique qualities, and allowing her own perspective to emerge. Although self-taught, Angela Bolocan has already collaborated with the sculptor Ion Bolocan on several exhibitions in Chisinau. Since 2023, she has been exhibiting her oil paintings in Berlin and Brandenburg. The painter herself says: "One of my artworks is more than just decoration – it's a piece of my soul, an expression of creativity and passion." The exhibition can be viewed during the opening hours of the Märkische Schweiz Tourist Information Office.

The opening reception will take place on June 27, 2026 at 5 p.m. in the "Zum Alten Warmbad" gallery. Riamara Sommerschuh will give an introductory speech, and Adel Heidemann will provide musical accompaniment on the piano.
