Stefano Ronchi is also known as "Slidin' Wolf" because of his love for the slide technique on the guitar. Stef initially learned to play the electric guitar. He wanted to sound loud and energetic like Stevie Ray Vaughan. This landed him opening slots for artists like Brian Auger, The Blues Brothers, and Nine Below Zero. Since 2012, this phase has been on hold, and Stef has discovered his passion for quieter sounds. He remembered old records his father used to play for him, and his attention is now focused on blues, ragtime, and barrel house music from the early 20th century.
