Roman Cycowski died on November 09, 1998. Until that day, he was the last living original member of the Comedian Harmonists ensemble.
In the play LIFE A CONCERT, Roman Cycowski is transported by the heavenly singing of his former, long-deceased colleagues into his thoughts of the original ensemble. His memories awaken of the challenging times in which the ensemble was founded, before becoming the most successful group of its time, the first boy band ever, before ultimately splitting up in conflict and dispute in the face of war and racist persecution, only to later, in some instances, look back with reconciliation and gratitude on the unique years they shared.
