The development of Frankfurt's passenger station after 1924 until today

reading / lecture
Frankfurt (Oder) station is the main passenger station in the city of Frankfurt (Oder). It is one of the most important stations in the state of Brandenburg. It serves local and long-distance passenger traffic and has served as a border station for traffic with Poland since 1945. The station has undergone several significant reconstructions. A building on the site of the first Frankfurt station, north of the current station, is a listed building, as is the Kiliansberg residential complex in the station forecourt, built as a railway workers' settlement and featuring a memorial to railway workers who died in the First World War. The slide show reflects the station's eventful history.
