Someone found honey... The photos of Hans Meyer

reading / lecture
In 1953, Hans Meyer from Mochlitz donated a large collection of taxidermied animals and other objects from Africa to the Beeskow Museum. When this collection was first exhibited in 2024, much remained a mystery. For example, what did the entry "One found honey, the other licked his hand" in the museum's records mean?

A photo album was found in Munich, taken during Meyer's first trip to Africa in 1901. We will look through it and find out what the honey and the hand have to do with it.
