The companions of the night gather to stroll through the streets of the small Brandenburg town with their guests. In an entertaining way, they bring old traditions and, above all, historical events from Storkow back to life during their evening tours. Curious visitors learn many interesting facts from bygone eras. Tales of a former mayor and knightly ballads provide lighthearted moments, but so too do thoughtful stories about the harsh realities of life in the Middle Ages.
On their walk with the night watchman, guests encounter all sorts of strange figures who emerge from the darkness and accompany the night owls for a while. The city guards ensure order and safety, as shady thieves sometimes lurk in the dark alleys. Minstrels entertain the public with music, while in courtyards and special places, small scenes are performed – stories as they might have taken place many hundreds of years ago.
