"Classics in the Green" concert series 2026 - Brass instruments in the castle park: Polish Brass Trio

  • choir / folklore / folk music
  • Children and adolescents

The traditional concert series "Classics in the Green" returns for its 2026 edition. Enjoy top-class classical music under the ancient trees of Buckow Palace Park.

The Polish Brass Trio is one of the few ensembles of its kind in Poland and Europe. It consists of trumpet, horn, and trombone and is led by three outstanding musicians: Damian Kurek, Tomasz Kuboń, and Wojciech Jeliński. They perform works by G.F. Handel, G. Gershwin, L. Bernstein, and others.
The artists are graduates of the Mozarteum University Salzburg, the Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin, and the I.J. Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznań. The ensemble is primarily dedicated to classical and contemporary music. In addition to original compositions, new works for this instrumentation are created through collaborations with composers; high-quality arrangements further enrich the program. The trio also regularly performs with piano or symphony orchestra.

In case of bad weather, the concert will take place in the Buckow church.
