Long Nature Watch Night: Night owls welcome!

Long Night of Nature Watching. The event is being held in cooperation with the municipality of Groß Schauen and nature conservation experts from Mausohr e.V. From 18 p.m. onwards, participants can build their own bat summer roosts at the half-timbered church in Groß Schauen. Afterwards, there will be a film screening in the church featuring fascinating footage of bats. The film will be presented by NABU Dahmeland. As darkness falls, those interested can observe real bats during mist-catching demonstrations starting at 21 p.m. The Mausohr experts will use a hair-fine net to try to catch individual bats, identify them, and record their personal data. Drinks and grilled sausages will be available.

The ranger tour is free of charge. Please bring small change for drinks and barbecue, as well as a donation for the film projectionist.
