How far can you trust your ears? This year, at least as far as the borders of the Oder-Spree district. Anyone wanting to find out who is behind the sounds and noises of the region, from loud to quiet, should do more than just open their eyes at the new annual exhibition of the Oder-Spree Museum.

…And again I seek you, you dark haven,
and the mighty roar of your treetop sea
Now it's your turn to speak! I'll let you have the floor!
Lament and jubilation have fallen silent. I want to listen.
Conrad Ferdinand Meyer (1825 – 1898)

Meyer's dialogue with the forest reads as if it had always been a ritual of (sought) solitude. Where "sound events"
If noise is annoying or even causes arguments, "forest bathing" can be the solution. Instead of making noise, we listen. Between these extremes stretches a range of stories, from the stillness of the forest to the sound of sirens, which in the new annual exhibition of the Museum Oder-Spree polyphonically "set to music" our present.
