Margit, played by Jutta Hoffmann, is unhappy with her deaconess training. Her ambitions extend further. Through hard work and dedication, she becomes a successful mathematician. But this alone doesn't bring her true happiness. She longs for love. Finding fulfillment in this regard, however, requires several attempts.
