Sander, lake and char - A fishing evening at the Köllnitz nature estate

At our Fisherman's Evening with Sander, you'll experience a unique evening right on the water and on the lake in the heart of the nature reserve, all centered around the theme of "fishing." The evening begins with a short trip on a fishing boat, where, in a small group, you'll learn firsthand how we work in traditional fishing and which fishing methods we use to further promote sustainability and biodiversity. Afterwards, you'll smoke char in a small smokehouse right by the water while enjoying a refreshing drink. Sander will share fascinating tips and tricks about the art of smoking fish. Following an appetizer lovingly prepared and served by our chef, Stefan Ziegenhagen, you'll fillet the smoked char together and enjoy it with fresh bread and horseradish. We'll also offer regional wines and beers, perfectly paired with the fish, as well as water and soft drinks. After a sweet dessert, you'll have a final Q&A session where you can ask questions and learn even more interesting facts about the work on the nature reserve.
