The choir “Cantus Gaudia” was founded by the lyricist, composer, singer, coach, therapist and musician Torsten Riemann in March 2014. Riemann has been leading and shaping this choir ever since. In 2024, the choir celebrated its tenth anniversary.
“Cantus Gaudia” is a choir where the focus is on having fun singing. There are no “academic” requirements. The choir members do not need to know how to read music, they just need to enjoy singing and be in a good mood.
The repertoire ranges from hits, film music, folk songs, pop songs to the choir director's own compositions.
Now Riemann wants to encourage the audience to sing too. The concert evening will feature well-known songs. The lyrics will be projected simultaneously onto a screen, so everyone in the audience can sing along to their heart's content.
