Clarinet – Opera – Electronic: Heinrich von Kleist was fascinated by music, and for over 200 years the music world has been fascinated by him. The poet played the clarinet and heard an inner symphony. One of his stories deals with the "power of music," and in the "Berliner Abendblätter" he wrote about an opera scandal. From romantic overtures to experimental electronic albums, Kleist's biography and work continue to inspire many pieces to this day; his most famous work, "The Broken Jug," has been set to operatic music several times.
