In "Full Speed Back," self-proclaimed eco-warrior Jasmin and ambitious Berlin actress Ann Katrin meet on the ICE train to Munich. Coincidence? Almost – because they're both going to the same audition. For the same role. In the same series. What follows is a fast-paced, musically infused journey through the madness of the media industry, cliché-ridden images of women, absurd beauty ideals, the gender gap, career struggles, and the everyday madness between toast and TikTok.
With witty dialogue, biting humor, clever songs, and surprising twists, the duo exposes the challenges of modern female roles – on stage and in real life. A cabaret program about casting mania, self-optimization, artificial intelligence, care work, children, body image, career – and the desire to simply be oneself.
