"On listening and making noise – course book Oder-Spree" Reading & Discussion
What does the district sound like? The current issue of "kursbuch oder-spree" explores the world of sounds and noises at a regional level – from classical music and popular songs, organ building and hunting horn playing to deafness and the tranquility of the forest. Sixteen stories have been created, three of which we will present at a reading and discussion in Reichenwalde.
Visitors can learn why the Hoffnungstaler Foundation in Reichenwalde uses music as therapy, how Martina Klimpel from Fürstenwalde manages her life as a deaf person, and what role silence plays in the Buddhist Center Sukhavati in Bad Saarow.
In addition to the authors, the respective protagonists will also be present at the reading and discussion in Reichenwalde – and will provide a few sound samples. Admission is free.
