Theater / Dance / Cabaret
A musical, cabaret-style Max Hansen evening

In a cheerful and profound cabaret evening, comedian Maximilian Nowka, together with Rudolf Hild on the piano, remembers the great artist of the Weimar Republic.

Let yourself be transported back to the golden 20s with songs like: "I'd like to kiss you once, my lady," "My dear Lola," "Oh Luise," or "I can't watch."

Max Hansen (1897-1961) was one of the great entertainment stars of the Weimar Republic as a singer, cabaret artist and actor.
He was the first waiter Leopold at the “Weißes Rössl” and co-founder of the KaDeKo (cabaret of comedians) in Berlin.
After sharp-tongued chansons, he first emigrated to Vienna and finally, in 1938, to Copenhagen, his mother's country of origin.
Like many other exiled artists, Max Hansen was no longer able to build on his former successes after the cultural disruption of the Nazi era.
