Ark becomes a pub: Pub bard Uli Kirsch in Neuenhagen

He's one of the veterans of folk music in Germany, especially Irish folk and 70s music: Uli Kirsch will be playing a living room concert at the Arche Neuenhagen on November 6th at 19 pm. Without any amplification, in the tradition of Irish pub jam sessions, he plays Irish folk songs on his guitar as if he'd grown up with them. He looks and sings like an Irishman – his strong, smoky voice and passion for the music are instantly captivating. This Bernau resident is one of those bards who play in pubs, encourage people to join in, and simply sing from the heart.
