In his creative workshop on the subject of “monotype”, for example, Ulrich Handke gives an introduction to this versatile printing technique, which produces only unique pieces. Monotype means
"a single image" - there is only one original, only one print per printing plate. For this, the motif is applied directly to a smooth surface with wet paint and a print is made while the paint is still wet.
Under Handke's guidance, the participants of the workshop in the manor house create their own works of art in a convivial atmosphere and then take them home with them. They work on various media and with different materials. There are no limits to creativity.
