Workshop: "From Nature to Print" - Botanical Gelli Plate Prints with Ulrich Handke

In his creative workshop on the theme "From Nature to Print," Ulrich Handke provides an introduction to the technique of botanical gelli plate prints. This versatile printing method enables unique works of art, as each print is created only once and bears the individual structures and forms of the natural materials used. Leaves, grasses, and other plants serve as inspiration and are arranged directly on the gel plate, inked, and transferred to paper or other media.

Under Handke's guidance, participants create their own botanical prints in a convivial atmosphere at the manor house and then take them home. They work with different materials and on various surfaces, resulting in unique, personal pieces. There are no limits to creativity – each composition develops its own character and reflects the diversity of nature.
