The Angerscheune is a listed historic barn, run by a local association. Every Sunday, people can meet there for coffee and cake and a chat with their neighbors. On the last Tuesday of every month, the Angerscheune hosts a communal breakfast, each one dedicated to a specific theme. Speakers are invited to give presentations on these topics.
The Angerscheune eV association was founded in 2006 with the goal of saving the old barn from ruin and using it as a socio-cultural meeting place. This has resulted in a high-quality cultural institution. Readings, concerts, cabaret, and much more are offered here. The Angerscheune is also used as a registry office and for hosting private celebrations.
