Idyllically situated in the middle of the baroque monastery garden of Neuzelle, a very special place invites you to coffee breaks, events and cultural happenings – the Orangery in the Baroque Garden!

Whether you are cosy inside or relaxed outside - sunny or in the shade of trees and large umbrellas - there is something for everyone in terms of cuisine, from breakfast to cakes and ice cream to cold and warm dishes and a large selection of drinks, from coffee specialities to sparkling drinks. The Oder-Spree region has a lot to offer. The Orangery in the Baroque Garden processes and offers a selection of products from local producers.

As part of the historic monastery gardens, which were redesigned in the French style in 1760 and are now one of the most important baroque parks in Brandenburg, the orangery was also restored according to plans from that time and has been open to the public since 2004. The historic garden with citrus plants offers the perfect setting for the seasonal café "Orangerie im Barockgarten" as well as for cultural events. In winter, the special place is used as a wintering place for the numerous orange trees in the monastery complex.

The orangery is located east of the monastery church, and there is barrier-free access to the monastery garden via the south gate on Kirchstrasse opposite the sports hall. The orangery in the baroque garden is the center of the beautiful Neuzelle monastery garden in the resort town of Brandenburg.

In June 2022, the Orangery was reopened by Rahn Education. The Rahn Education campus is located in the monastery building of the complex, which houses the Free Gymnasium with an international focus, the Free High School, the Clara Schumann Brandenburg Music and Art School, the language school in Neuzelle Abbey and modern boarding schools for students from all over the world in the magnificent buildings of the former Cistercian monastery.
