The Schmorpost in the former guardhouse of the "Altes Postgelände" quarter in Strausberg was reopened in October 2021 - as a supplement to the cultural and gastronomic offerings in Vorstadt / Hegermühle. Residents and day-trippers are invited - and of course everyone who visits the theater next door, Die Andere Welt Bühne. Lovingly renovated, the place reveals its historic charm and the appeal of the custom-made interior made from trees from the surrounding walking forest.
