In the village there is a bakery and a shop, as well as a café and good bus and train connections. The Altranft open-air museum, with various historic houses such as a blacksmith's shop, fisherman's house and castle, is within walking distance. The castle also houses the Oderbruch Museum Altranft with a changing program on rural culture.
