The family-run hotel "Forsthaus Siehdichum" is idyllically located in the middle of the forest at the Hammersee in the heart of the Schlaubetal. The historic house complex was built between 1909 and 1922.
The hotel has nine double rooms, which can also be used as single rooms, and one apartment. The rooms are simply but comfortably furnished and have very modern bathrooms. Particularly attractive are some of the well-maintained heating and wall panels with GDR charm.
The in-house restaurant serves regional dishes. From the terrace you have a wonderful view of the Hammersee and a colony of herons that breed here every year. A breakfast in front of this unique backdrop is a great way to start the day. The hotel is particularly recommended for cyclists, hikers and nature lovers.
