The youth hostel is located in the heart of the Schlaubetal Nature Park. As an environmentally friendly youth hostel, it offers hands-on environmental education, as well as fun and games for school trips, groups, families, and other guests on a 20.000 square meter natural site. The historic main building, the former miller's home, serves as a community center. Up to 136 people can stay overnight in four group houses with four-bed rooms (WC/shower). Each of these group houses has its own common room. The historic mill cellar with a fireplace and a barbecue and campfire area offer the opportunity to unwind in the evening in a cozy atmosphere.
Right next door, there are hiking tours into the diverse nature formed by the Ice Age along the Schlaube river and its lakes, through diverse forests, meadows and moors, on nature trails, for bird watching and in the footsteps of the Neuzell monks.
The proximity to the cities of Beeskow, Eisenhüttenstadt and Frankfurt (Oder) allows for many other leisure activities.
There is a locked storage area for bicycles.
