Around 1803, a guest room was set up in the farmhouse on the Oderdeich. Business was good and the first sleeping accommodation was added. By 1893, demand for shared space was so great that a hall was added. In 1918, great-grandfather Wilhelm Rochlitz took over the inn and ran it with his wife Anna for 27 years. The inn is now in the hands of the third generation of the Rochlitz family.
The house is located directly on the Oder-Neisse cycle path - dike kilometer 39,4 - right next to the Kienitz harbor. It offers overnight accommodation, a restaurant with traditional German cuisine and a camping site, which is open during the summer season.
