In the summer months, you can spend the night in three historic railway wagons from the former Oderbruchbahn, which are located on the three remaining tracks of the Oderhafen in Groß Neuendorf. They date from the same period of construction as the loading tower and were also renovated with great attention to detail in keeping with the monument. Due to their location in the flood plain, the wagons had to be furnished in a deliberately simple manner without heating or water connections; the associated sanitary facilities are located in the former blower house at the foot of the loading tower.
Up to four people (one double bed and two guest mattresses for the floor) can sleep in the one non-divisible room in each carriage. The small kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, kettle, toaster and coffee machine as well as crockery and cutlery. The existing garden chairs and garden table can be placed in front of the carriage. Bed linen and towels are provided. WiFi with up to 25 megabits is available.
