The Protestant Church of Genezareth in Erkner is an outstanding example of neo-Gothic architecture. Built between 1896 and 1897, it is now a listed building. The single-nave church impresses with a three-pointed church tower and a base made of Rüdersdorf limestone on which the red brick walls rest.

During the summer months from May to September the church is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 13 p.m. to 16 p.m.

 Located directly on Friedrichstraße, the Movieland cinema a wide range of film classics to current blockbusters for young and old. What's particularly charming is that visitors can even express their wishes for the cinema program, which, with a bit of luck, will end up on the big screen. So, if the weather isn't playing along, head to the cinema with a coke and popcorn and immerse yourself in the world of film!

The idyllic Löcknitztal valley stretches out on the eastern outskirts of Erkner. This is where the small forest gnome Wupatz, which accompanies adventurers of all ages on a two-hour hike. Ideal for family outings, around 16 stations offer interactive display boards and exciting facts to discover.

The Museumshof am Sonnenluch with its protected herb and fruit garden is one of Erkner's main attractions. The local museum, a historic orchard from the Frederickian era, has been displaying a fascinating collection on the town's history since its renovation in 1996. The exhibition in the barn highlights Erkner's industrial development since 2008, while the colonists' house covers various aspects of regional history.
