The Protestant Church of Gennesaret in Erkner is an outstanding example of Neo-Gothic architecture. Built between 1896 and 1897, it is now a listed building. The single-nave church impresses with its three-pointed steeple and a base of Rüdersdorf limestone upon which the red brick walls rest.

During the summer months from May to September the church is open from Tuesday to Saturday from 13 p.m. to 16 p.m.

Located directly on Friedrichstrasse, the Movieland cinema shows a wide range of films, from classics to current blockbusters, for all ages. A particularly charming feature: visitors can even make requests for the films to be shown, and with a bit of luck, their requests might even make it onto the big screen. So, if the weather isn't cooperating, head to the cinema with a cola and popcorn, and immerse yourself in the world of film!

The idyllic Löcknitz Valley stretches along the eastern edge of Erkner. Here lives Wupatz , a little forest gnome who accompanies adventurers of all ages on a two-hour hike. Ideal for family outings, the trail features around 16 stations with interactive displays and fascinating facts to discover.

The museum courtyard at Sonnenluch, with its protected herb and fruit garden, is a major attraction in Erkner. The local history museum, a historic farmhouse dating back to the Frederician era, has housed a fascinating collection on the town's history since its renovation in 1996. The exhibition in the barn illuminates Erkner's industrial development since 2008, while the colonist's house covers various aspects of regional history.
