The state-approved resort has a wonderful lakeside promenade, a carriage collection and a nature trail. Müllrose, which is over 750 years old, is also an ideal starting point for trips to the Oder-Spree Lake District.

But Müllrose is one thing above all: the gateway to the Schlaubetal Nature Park. This is where Sebastian Kneipp's motto "If you value your health, do everything you can to spend time in clean air" can be put into practice in the most beneficial way for body and soul. A hiking trail runs for over 25 kilometers along the Schlaube, which gave the nature park its name, from its source south of the Wirchensee to Müllrose. In 2011, this hiking gem was certified as a "Quality Trail for Hiking in Germany" at the "TourNatur" trade fair in Düsseldorf.

But well-developed cycle paths also lead through Brandenburg's most beautiful stream valley with former mills and forestry houses, with rustic inns and four-star campsites.
