Breslack cemetery, which tells of times long past
For some it is scary and for others it is exciting to walk through a cemetery. Cemeteries are silent witnesses and tell the cultural history of the region and report on the profession, age, living conditions and family relationships of the deceased.
The small old cemetery in the middle of Breslack is a real gem. Gravestones that are well over 100 years old provide information about the people who lived here. Sometimes you have to smile and sometimes you have to pause. It is laid out like a park and invites you to take a stroll. It has been lovingly looked after by the people of Breslack for several years, thus preserving a piece of cultural heritage. Breslack is an old farming village at the foot of the Neisse river.
The Oder-Neisse cycle path and the Monk's Tour lead directly through the village and past the old cemetery.
