The viewing point is located between Grunow-Dammendorf and Bremsdorf Mühle in the Schlaubetal Nature Park above the Großer Treppelsee. There is a car park with free parking spaces about 700 m away.
A board provides information about the history and the surrounding area. Visitors can enjoy a wonderful view of the lake and the wooded landscape of the Schlaubetal Nature Park. On the opposite bank is the campsite in the Schlaubetal at the Großer Treppelsee. A hike along the mill hiking trail leads to an observation hut and further along the Hammersee, you reach the historic Siehdichum forester's house.
