In 1804, Albrecht Daniel Thaer At the instigation of the Prussian state, he moved to Möglin and opened the first academic agricultural college in Germany. In Möglin, a modern pavilion has been in operation since 2009. permanent exhibition dedicated to the life and work of the teacher, statesman and agricultural scientist Albrecht Daniel Thaer (1752 – 1828). In the immediate vicinity is the 400-year-old manor house with the Grabstätte Thaers in the estate park.
