The Ranziger See has particularly clear water. Visibility is usually two metres. The bathing area with its wide sandy beach and shallow, sandy entry at the water's edge offers excellent water quality. The lake is 37 hectares in size and up to 15 metres deep in places.
Connected to the spacious lawn are toilets, a playground and opportunities for volleyball and table tennis. Parking is available. There is also a campsite and a restaurant on site.
The water quality of the bathing area is regularly monitored by the district health department in accordance with the Brandenburg Bathing Water Ordinance and has excellent values.
