The Great Lake near Harnekop is a long lake surrounded by trees. The turnoff to the bathing area is located behind the Harnekop town exit along the L35 in the direction of Rädekow and Haselberg. On the left, a dirt road leads directly to the bathing area.
There is a clearing in the forest with places to lie down and a sandy access to the lake. From the bathing area you have an idyllic view of the reed beds on the opposite bank.
