Surrounded by deciduous and coniferous trees, the three-kilometer-long and up to 400-meter-wide Bötzsee between the towns of Altlandsberg and Strausberg. The Bötzsee is part of the Strausberg and Blumenthal forest and lake area conservation area and has good water quality.
