The Castle Beeskow, first mentioned in documents in 1316, is an impressive testimony to the region's medieval history. Originally built as a knight's castle, it later served as a bishop's estate and was finally used by the Hohenzollerns. Museum Oder-Spree: A place of learning and design
The castle has been home to the Oder-Spree Museum for 65 years. In addition to regional history, it is dedicated to current topics and sees itself as a place for work and negotiations on issues relevant to the future. A museum workshop and exciting temporary exhibitions make the visit a special experience.

Beeskow Music Museum: A Soundful Journey Through Time
The music museum on the castle grounds offers a fascinating collection of instruments from the years 1848 to 1927. Visitors can discover and hear the sounds of rare sound machines such as orchestrions, trumpet organs and automatic pianos. Several thousand music rolls for mechanical musical instruments are also part of the collection.

Burgschreiber:innen: Literature in a historical setting
Literary creators have the opportunity to live and work at the castle for six months as a castle scribe. A scholarship and free accommodation in the castle scribe's room allow them to concentrate fully on their creative work.

The café-restaurant cucina verde in the picturesque castle courtyard invites you to linger. Here, guests can relax with a coffee or a meal and enjoy the atmosphere of the historic complex.
