Historical monuments and sites
In the Kirchgasse of the Beeskower Old Town is the "Oldest House" the eastern Margraviate of Brandenburg. The outbuilding was partially destroyed by a fire in the town in 1513. This part of the house was reconstructed using beams that were still preserved. The historic half-timbered house was renovated in accordance with listed building regulations in 1995 and can be viewed from the outside. The "glass entrance" gives you a glimpse of the interior of the house.
