The “Oderhähne” perform in the medieval Frankfurt town hall cellar. Thanks to the countless restaurants and cafés nearby, guests can round off their cabaret visit with a gastronomic treat.
The “Oderhähne” go back to the “Lach mit” after-work brigade, founded in 1976. Since 1991 they have operated as a non-profit organization.
The cabaret artists say that they definitely have one thing in common with the Frankfurt coat of arms rooster: the pointed beak and the sharp spurs. And with that, "more than 200 times a year they peck at the fat and food bowls that politics and society are only too willing to put in front of them."
