Former District Court of Rüdersdorf

Historical monuments and sites
In 1913, the existing Kalkberge District Court was expanded by the construction of an additional commercial building at what is now Hans-Striegelski-Straße 5, which was completed on April 1, 1914. This two-wing corner building, which is now the Rüdersdorf municipal administration, was intended to serve as the commercial building of the Kalkberge District Court. From 1914 to 1918, the building served as a military hospital for those wounded in World War I. After that, court officials and lawyers moved into the offices on the first and second floors and the apartments on the upper floor. After the end of the war in 1, a polyclinic with a night sanatorium was set up. In 1, the municipal administration moved into the premises. The former district court is still the seat of the town hall of the municipality of Rüdersdorf near Berlin.
