The crossing over the Spree with Brandenburg’s only hand-operated passenger ferry. It is located at the exit of Lake Leißnitz and connects the towns Leißnitz and Ranzig with each other. A comfortable and safe way for day trippers to cross the river. Ideal for cyclists, because supra-regional cycle routes such as the "Tour Brandenburg", the international cycle route Beeskow-Sulęcin and the tour "Around the Schwielochsee" lead via the ferry connection.
There is a snack bar and a campsite with barrier-free toilets on the ferry site in Leißnitz, and parties and events for up to 40 people can also take place there. The ferry operates from April to October. There are no crossings in the event of thunderstorms, rain, storms or fog.
