Strausberg Airfield

In the air
The airfield in Strausberg has played a role for over 70 years. Initially used for military purposes, since 1992 it has been used for commercial purposes, business traffic, training in all aspects of flying and aviation sports.

Strausberg Airfield offers a variety of options for taking to the air, from balloons and gliders to motorized aircraft, helicopters, and ultralights. Contact details for these are provided by the various flight schools and a gliding club, which also offers youth consecration flights. The individual contact details can be found on the website.

Services: Gliding, flight school, motor gliding club, pilot accommodation (air base), sightseeing flights, ballooning
Bicycle rental and charging stations for electric vehicles are also available.

If you are a little or very hungry, we recommend the "Doppeldecker" restaurant right next to the airport.

The Förderverein Flugplatzmuseum eV focuses on the history of aviation in Strausberg and exhibits historical exhibits in the Flugplatzmuseum. Guided tours with expert staff are available upon prior registration.
