On the eastern shore of Lake Wirchensee, many small steps lead up to the "Forest View," which offers a fantastic view of the lake. With a little luck, you might spot sea eagles or ospreys soaring above the water. In autumn, during the rutting season, the bellowing of stags echoes through the tall forest.
