The Galerie TRAFO.1 is the smallest gallery in Brandenburg and is located in a unique, secluded location in Regenmantel, a quiet spot outside the gates of the 700-year-old community of Falkenhagen. Here, in the midst of nature, a window to art opens: 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, visitors can discover the works of regional and national artists.
A new way of presenting art
The TRAFO.1 gallery was founded in 2012 and offers art in places where you would not expect it. Through a window and at the touch of a button, hikers and interested parties can get a glimpse of the exhibitors' works - an invitation to experience art in the midst of untouched nature.
The extension: TRAFO.2 and TRAFO.3
In August 2013, the gallery was expanded to include TRAFO.2 in Dolgelin. Here, art is shown in an old cradle house from 1958. In addition, rustic wooden works of art by gallery owner Karl Witzleben are exhibited at both locations, inviting visitors to linger. The art journey continued in 2016 with TRAFO.3 in Reitwein, where the journey continues along unexplored art paths.
Art always and everywhere
TRAFO.1+2 stands for art that is accessible at any time - without admission, without restrictions. With the Kunstregen eV association as a supporter, the path of art always remains exciting and unexpected, open to all who want to embark on the journey
