Museums
The Gustav Seitz Museum is an institution of the foundation of the same name, which permanently preserves the artistic legacy of the sculptor and draftsman Gustav Seitz (1906-1969). It was opened on September 11, 2017 on the grounds of the Trebnitz Castle Education and Meeting Center in the specially renovated washhouse of the former estate.

In addition to the preserved cast models, the museum also contains works by Seitz (large and small sculptures, reliefs), as well as drawings and prints. A representative selection of the artist's sculptural work is on permanent display in the public exhibition.

The location of the museum leads to a collaboration with the Trebnitz Castle education and meeting center. In the future, courses for families and children from the region, German-Polish artists' plein air events and regular guided tours will be offered here.

To complement your visit to the museum, you can take a stroll through the historic Trebnitz castle park. The castle complex and park are maintained, renovated and cared for by the extraordinary commitment of volunteers. In the coach house at the entrance to the estate there is a village shop with regional products and a café. In the season (April-October) the international, inclusive Junior Café welcomes guests from near and far. You can find more information on the website.
